Auxiliary Ammunition

Good Morning Lovely People!

Today we are going to take some practical steps.

Philippians 4:8 gives us auxiliary (additional) ammunition to combat and eradicate worry / anxiety. It ensures that NO PLACE is given to thoughts that perpetuate or lead to anxiety.

We should think on things that are:

-Of good report

Has God been good to you? Think on the things He has done. Had some good news? Think on those things. Interrupt the negative thoughts that attempt to grab you. Remember, in every situation there is always a blessing. Romans 8:28 says that ALL things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are the called according to His purpose. You don’t have to be carried by your thoughts, but you have the power to determine what dominates your thought life.

I learned this piece of gold from my spiritual dad: ‘whenever you are bombarded with a stream of thoughts that you cannot seem to control, the way to interrupt that thought pattern is by speaking.’ Therefore, speak the word out loud!

Choose peace by reconditioning your thought life.

Today I take my stand against every weapon of Satan formed to rob me of my peace and I declare that it shall not prosper!

I take authority over my thoughts and I bring them to the obedience of Christ (2Corinthians10:5)

I loose my mind from all thoughts of worry and anxiety in Jesus’ name. I declare that I have a sound mind. (2Timothy 1:7)

I speak to my mind, I choose peace. I think on the goodness of God and of His love.

The thoughts of the Lord towards me are good; therefore I will think good thoughts (Jeremiah 29:11)

I make these declarations in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN!
